Why Should You Join?
You're either expecting, they've already arrived or you're adopting. You're a parent of multiples! This has probably caused mixed emotions, ranging from absolute joy to near panic. Your life will be changed forever. You have been chosen to become a part of a special group of parents. No one knows better than another MOM about the responsibilities, pressures, and many emotions involved with raising multiples. We may not have all the answers, but we've been there too and can offer you information and support.
NWSMOM began in 1967 to provide support and education to MOMs. We are a volunteer club affiliated with the Michigan Organization and the National Organization of Mothers of Twins Clubs. We currently have over 70 members. Our members have children of all ages. We cover a large geographic area, with members living in the Detroit, MI area (Wayne County, Oakland County & Livingston County) and surrounding suburbs including: Allen Park, Ann Arbor, Brighton, Canton, Commerce Township, Dearborn, Dearborn Heights, Detroit, Garden City, Livonia, Northville, Novi, Plymouth, Plymouth Canton, Redford, Superior Township, Taylor, Walled Lake, West Bloomfield, Westland, and White Lake.
NWSMOM meetings are held on the second Tuesday of every month at 7 p.m. at:
Annual dues are $20.00. If you already have your multiples, you are invited to be a prospective member for two months before you decide to join us. This entitles you to all the privileges of a club member. If you're still expecting your multiples, you're invited to be a prospective from now until your babies are two months old. You can join anytime after the birth of your multiples. E-mail us for more information.
